Heritage Kids.

We love kids at Heritage Church! See where your child fits below: 

Birth - 2 Years Old:  Babies are free to remain with you during service, or you can check your baby into the nursery. Your baby will receive lots of attention and interactive play. All our workers are nationally background checked and trained in our child abuse prevention policy to ensure your child's safety and well-being.

Pre-K through 5th grade: Your kids will love Heritage Kids. In fact, they'll beg you to bring them back! Heritage Kids engages children through worship, story-telling, games, small groups, and hands-on activities.  Kids come to worship with their parents, then are dismissed to their classes after the first song. Our teachers love your kids as if they were their own! 

6th grade through 12th: Growing up is not easy in today's world; we provide your middle/high schoolers a place where they can ask tough questions, grow in their faith, and build better relationships with you, other students, and adult leaders. Your child will always be included, encouraged, and accepted. On Sundays, students attend worship with their parents. Youth group meets on Wednesday nights from 6-7:30.

Your first visit.

Visiting us for the first time? No worries! Our friendly hosts will show you where Heritage Kids meets, or feel free to let your child stay in the service with you.  Our Heritage Kids Director and team will make your kids feel welcomed and included. Get your kids ready for some fun as they learn about their faith!

We know your child is your most important possession, and we take our responsibility to care for them very seriously. All volunteers in Heritage Kids strive to create an environment where families can confidently leave their children while they are in service. Every volunteer is screened with a national background check and trained in our child-abuse prevention policy annually. Heritage Kids is monitored by security personnel, and the building is monitored with security cameras.

What we teach.

Kids love fun! Your child should not be bored at church. We realize when children have fun at church, they can’t wait to come back! We value creative and innovative ways to teach children about Jesus in a safe and age-appropriate manner. Utilizing games, activities, singing, crafts, skits, and small group experiences, we bring the curriculum to life! We utilize Grow curriculum and strive to involve you in your child's spiritual education by providing enrichment activities for your family to do afterwards. On your way home, be sure to ask your child questions such as, "Did you have fun?" and "What did you learn today?” 

 

 

Heritage Preschool

Want to make sure your preschooler (ages 3-5) is prepared for Kindergarten?  Check out Heritage Preschool, where they'll be loved and taught everything they need to know!
